I am now using the latest version RC08D, i dunno if it is a compatibility issue but when i use the navigation function of the keypad, u can no longer access the option button (left & right sofkeys) os some apps e.g. sms options, smart explorer en etc. & the fade effects dont work on my fone either but im not expecting it to work on my old phone. Lols

Mapping SmartToolkit into HardKey?
Oct, 11 2007. 03:11In current release RC4D you can map the taskbar or clipboard or others function with home key! but in the fact of current windows mobile smartphone devices, there is no way to be able to use delay with home key ( except in emulator maybe )! because if you hold it, you will get new key code. here the explain:
- Default home key code is 91
- If you hold the home key, the key code will change into others key code.
- In my XPhone IIm it will change into key code 193
So the solution is create one hotkey with function that you want, than change the key, hold the home key, the key code should be 193 not 91. Leave the delay in instant.
If when you hold the home key it show another application like system task manager, you should change your system shortcut. In the default the long home key will be defined as hard key. you can change the "\windows\long_home.lnk" ( maybe different in another phone ).
Edit the file with text editor and change the content with something like this:
31#":MSPOUTLOOK"

Changing the shortcut like that will prevent the phone to execute the application when you hold the home key!
Another solution is to directly map the SmartToolkit into this shortcut without using the hotkey. here the example shortcut contents:
40#"\Directory to STK\SmartToolkit.exe" StartMenu
or
40#"\Directory to STK\SmartToolkit.exe" TaskBar
Note: before you change the shortcut. it recommended you backup the original shortcut.
There is no programmatic way to map it. But if in all device the long home key is map in same shortcut. I can add the hardkey-shortcut settings.
